The Founding Fathers were brilliant visionaries, they knew, reducing our political system to only two parties could be problematic, but they didn’t see this one coming.
What happens when career politicians, from the two parties, join forces and put their collective personal welfare (each-others welfare) before the welfare of their constituents?
You get a very, powerful, and exclusive Club with unlimited resources and the wherewithal to do great good and/or great evil. You also get a particularly good reason to limit the number of terms, one person can spend in an elected office.
