It’s time to bring manufacturing back to New Jersey.
History has shown us long-term manufacturing centers, need a cheap labor force, cost-effective waste recycling procedures, a good infrastructure, and well-organized long term integrated plan.
NJ is the most densely populated state in the US and its workers are among the highest paid in the country; two conditions that must be overcome or integrated into the long-term plan.

Imagine a manufacturing process without a manufacturing plant, manned by specialized industrial robots and overseen by people in their own homes. Imagine organizing the homes/apartments into groups to produce specific products.
Moving parts from one household to another for systematic assembly would be easy and cost effective.
The obvious first product to be produced by this system would be a series of industrial robots that could create replicas of themselves, followed by the machines required to produce a series of relatively simple high demand products. Once perfected, the program would move on to bigger and more complex products.
Eventually, the robots will be programmed to: order and maintain raw materials inventory; manufacture/assemble specified parts; inspect, box, label and arrange to transport the finished parts; clean their own work area and arrange for the removal and recycling of all waste by-products.
It’s time to bring manufacturing back home, literally.
