Intimidation Retaliation

I heard; you’re not getting along with the town’s school board; you criticized them for always conceding to teacher union demands and wasting taxpayer money. Now, your youngest kid is being harassed by some of the teachers and coaches.

I also heard; when your wife took-a-seat, at the next board meeting (teacher contracts happened to be the subject), she was immediately surrounded by a group of glaring, strangers. She felt to intimidated to speak up.

You live in a TOWN of 25,000 people. I live in a COUNTY of 3,200 people. That could never happen here.

We all know every school board member or have a close friend who does. We may let them pilfer a few dollars here and there, but we would run-them-out-of-town, if they ever tried to use a man’s young son to silence his father. We don’t take kindly to blackmail or intimidation of any kind. We elect people, from school board to senator, who will represent us, not rule over us.

The time has come, to punish politicians who intimidate or retaliate against outspoken constituents. Do not reelect them. Better yet, they should be publicly humiliated and forced to resign. Personally, I would prefer an old puritan punishment like having them flogged in the town square (televised of course).
