Racism is not the result of slavery but rather the justification for slavery.

The United States has a long history of hatred and violence between Blacks and Whites. That hatred is rekindled by periodic race riots, to indoctrinate the young and to keep it fresh in our minds. In fact, it’s been rekindled eleven times in the last 57 years. Four of those times (36%) happened to coincide with Presidential elections.
Why is there an ebb and flow to these race relations? Why are some years worthy of riots, and other years are not? If people are so angry, they are willing to march in the streets and commit random acts of violence one year, why aren’t they marching again the next year? What changed?
It’s easy for unscrupulous politicians, gang leaders, and anarchists, to exploit racism in this country. All that’s needed is an incident between a Black person and a White person, and someone to yell racism. Then sit back and watch the professional racists in action. Al Sharpton’s advance guard will appear and alert the media, BLM will send a team to incite a crowd, dark money’s rapid response teams will pay for professional protesters to be bussed to the area and the mainstream media will be there to fan the flames.
So, who benefits from a race riot? It’s not the local Black community, their neighborhood is usually destroyed. The professional racists who flock to the scene raise a lot of money for their Nonprofit organizations. Young reporters get “their big break” and politicians get free on-air television time. Professional rioters get paid to lead crowds, some gangs make off with some loot, and the young rioters get to experience their first rush of power and excitement. Media outlets and news anchors get a bump in their ratings while they recycle the same material over-and-over.
Today’s politicians and their advocates are the greatest hindrance to good race relations in our country; followed by the scammers and unscrupulous charlatans. They all use the media to spread lies and regenerate old racial hatreds; then they use the ensuing chaos for their own personal gain.
And nothing changes. Black lives do not get better. Black and White relations do not get better. People lose their lives and families suffer.
When I look back over the last 57 years, we the people have been played, sucked into the same old trap, with the same old battle cry, “racism”. We the people, the not-so-special people, have been pitted against one another time and time again, and we’re too dumb to see it coming and we’re too emotional to get out of the way.
It’s time to wake up; stop being a victim. When you hear someone say racist, you know they’re not up to anything good, walk away, share a joke with your Black and White friends. Don’t get suckered again.
