My neighbor Bob believes abortions should only be performed to save the life of a mother, or in cases of rape or incest
Planned Parenthood, as a registered nonprofit organization, isn’t required to pay taxes on the donations. They are also given a general IRS exemption on sales and the costs of goods.
Every year Bob’s congressional representatives include a federal budget line item granting tens of millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood. A portion of the taxes Bob has paid is being donated to the organization against his will and to add insult-to-injury, Betty’s donation is entitled to a tax credit, while Bob’s involuntary donation, is not.
